Leave the Mall, Shop Small
As you begin making (and checking off) those holiday wish lists, you are going to want to be certain to check out these local shops in Gaston County. Each of these shops not only have unique and beautiful products, but their owners are incredibly special, as well.
115 Main is one of my new favorite spots. This adorable shop just recently opened it's doors in the coziest shop in the heart of Christmastown USA. The vast variety of products they offer is truly amazing. Shop owner, Mona Fore, has worked exceptionally hard to make certain her collection holds a little something for everyone.
Hive Design has become one of my most frequented shops. They have some of the best stationery and gifts. The Hive is known for their sandblasting, but I don't believe there is anything outside of their realm that they couldn't personalize for you. Their products are perfect for anyone you may be shopping for this season, or maybe even if you're starting to think about your family Christmas cards this year, The Hive is what the buzz is all about!
AR Workshop | Belmont, NC
Have you considered a gift a little more personal for this holiday season? At AR Workshop you are able to give a beautiful, unique gift and best of all, you create and build it yourself! Their workshops are fun, provide plenty of assistance in the event you are little uncoordinated with power tools (like me) and you walk away at the end with a gorgeous piece and the pride of knowing you created it yourself.
Victoria- Cole Gifts | Cherryville, NC
Victoria- Cole is one of my most recent finds. The shop feels magical and whimsical the moment you walk through the door. The shop is nestled among the historic buildings on Main Street in Cherryville. Like the other shops I have included here, what's to love most of all is that there is something for everyone. Candles, bath bombs, home decor, you name it and Victoria- Cole has it for you.
Last, but certainly not least, Create in Us will always be one of my favorite shops. They can create gorgeous wood cut outs in perfect script lettering to display on your wall. Perhaps, the word "gather" in your dining room would fit nicely? They also sell an array of unique local products that are a must have! Whatever your shopping needs are this season, why not try shopping local first?
